People, that is. Reassuring, agreed?

Some smaller design companies use a lot of outside resources. We don’t want to slag off our competitors, but we reckon clients deserve to know who’s working on their business.

As for our suppliers, the list is like a perfectly made sushi—small but impressive. We set pretty high standards for businesses we partner with and, to be blunt, few meet them. Over the years we’ve seen print companies come and go, but in this small market you tend to run into the same folk time after time. That’s why it helps if you’re nice. And know what you’re doing.

Our directors are Dale Woods and Luke Tarver.

A bit about Dale 

Dale has more than 20 years’ commercial sales and marketing experience. He’s worked in New Zealand and the UK in account management, design, pre-press and production. He’s in charge of production at MakeReady and he’s also the guy you’ll have lots of contact with as a client. Fortunately, he’s alright. If he was unbearable, that would be a disaster. But he’s not. He’s alright—as we said.

Here’s Luke’s bio

Luke has been a graphic designer for over a dozen years. He’s made some of New Zealand’s greatest brands look beautiful. He manages the zoo that’s called our graphic design team (if you’ve ever worked in a creative department you’ll know what we mean). Just for kicks, he also looks after our IT. That’s not as odd as it sounds. Did you know that Einstein was highly creative? You can be creative and analytical too. We’re not saying Luke is going to solve any of the mysteries of the physical universe. He does, however, have a knack for demystifying minimalist briefs.
